The zipline we’ll be headed to uses the latest safety equipment to guarantee a smooth ride. Thanks to the automatic braking system you’ll enjoy a totally hands-free experience during this amazing ride and won’t have to worry about manually breaking too soon or too late. With a manual braking system, you’re always at risk of getting stuck mid-way or hitting the pole at the end of the line. Here, the brakes kick in automatically and start slowing you down progressively as you get closer to the next platform.
They use a three cables zipline system for maximum safety, and the lines have been rated for up to 26,000 pounds. You will be fastened in with a double harness that has two cams that run along 2 of the cables overhead.

Ziplining excursion from Las Terrenas
We’ll come pick you up at your hotel or villa in Las Terrenas, then it’s a 60-minute ride to the zipline. Once we arrive the staff will brief you about the safety measures and will gear you up. The whole zip line run takes about 1 hour, depending on how many people are in your group.
