If you have never done any other water sports before, you can learn kiteboarding with us and experience amazing and fun sensations, in a safe teaching environment.
Around only for a day or two? With this package you will get a taste of kitesurfing. At the end you will be able to water start.

- 1h of piloting the kite on land
- 1h of body dragging
- 1h of water starts

HOOKED-UP
6 hours
This is the best solution if you want to become independent and be able to do kiteboarding on your own. It’s the fastest way, with a private instructor. After this course, you will be able to control your kite safely in every situation and ride the board. You will receive your IKO certification.

- Equipment setup, wind window fly, and launching/landing
- Learn body dragging, how to rescue the board, and water-start on both sides
- Walkie-talkie for fast progression

INTENSIVE

Want to learn the basics of kitesurfing and beyond? This package is made for sport lovers who really want to get into kitesurfing deeply and learn to ride like a pro. We will make you fully independent and very comfortable with your equipment setting. At the end of the course, you’ll get your IKO certification.

GROUP LESSONS
Great for families or couples wanting to take lessons together. These group kiteboarding lessons will allow you to learn kiteboarding while taking advantage of group rate savings. 2 students together sharing 1 equipment.

KIDS LESSONS
The first kitesurfing lesson can start as early as 8-year- old, it mostly is up to their weight and motivation. Kids who are over 40 kilos (roughly 90 pounds) can start learning to kitesurf.

ADVANCED CLASSES
Learn new kiteboarding tricks or discover the hydrofoil
We are the only school in the Dominican Republic affiliated with One Launch Kiteboarding. We teach through special methods of coaching to optimize results while having fun. We offer quality radio lessons with slow-motion video to analyze the way you ride in order to set new goals according to your level and to fix small errors.
HYDROFOIL
A hydro foil is a big wing under a sort of surfboard, added to your kite quiver, which gives you a whole new impulse.
Only for advanced riders, trying kitefoiling will challenge you and make you feel new sensations.
KiteWorld offers kitefoiling lessons using a foil with a short mast for an easier progression.
COACHING
We proudly are a ONE LAUNCH KITEBOARDING
affiliated school and will help you get to the next level. Start to jump, make power turns, ride switch or back rolls then take a one to one Advanced Training Session with a level 3 instructor. First, we film you in slow motion in order to analyze your technique and set learning goals for your next session. During the lesson, we will guide you with a walkie-talkie for a faster progression. At the end of the day, we do a debriefing to speak about what you have achieved and what you can improve on.

EQUIPMENT RENTAL
If you choose to travel light or simply want to save on excess luggage, you can rent your kitesurfing equipment here in KiteWorld Las Terrenas. We have the latest Duotone Kiteboarding Kites and Boards available for rent. Get a full day or discounted week gear pass which gives you access to all the kite sizes and boards available at our kite center.
Kite rentals are available to experienced kiteboarders only and the riders are responsible for all damages made to the kite.
Supervision is for those who can not stay upwind or need some assistance, or if your instructor does not think you are ready to practice alone. Supervision includes all the equipment you need plus an assistant who will stay with you and keep a close eye on you for your safety.
All unsupervised rentals are subject to terms and a deposit. You must have an autonomous level and be able to ride upwind to rent unsupervised.
If you do not have an IKO Kiteboarder Card then a short assessment may be given.
