How to go from Punta Cana to Las Terrenas

The most comfortable option to go from Punta Cana to Las Terrenas is to hire a driver, it will cost you around 300 to 350 USD, if you’re not a large group, you can easily find people to share the ride with you. We can help you arrange transportation if you need to, just contact us.

There are also public buses you can take. There are no direct ones though, you’ll need to change near Santo Domingo. To get to the bus stop, take a cab from the airport to the bus stop «Cruce de Veron», the company operating this bus line is « Espresso Bavaro»

Timetable: 7 am – 9 am – 11 am – 1 pm – 3 pm – 4 pm (always fully booked, buy your ticket 30 min before)

Get out of the bus before Santo Domingo, at the bus station «Parada Samana» – the company operating the line to Las Terrenas is «Transporte Las Terrenas»

How to go from Santo Domingo to Las Terrenas

Depending on what time your flight lands, it might be easier to hire a car with a driver, as the last bus of the day leaves for Las Terrenas at 6:20 PM. From the airport, a taxi will cost you around $150, you can also easily find people arriving on the same flight as you to share the cab.

If you’re going to take the bus, from the airport, take a cab to the bus stop “Parada Samana” and take the bus from the company “Transporte Las Terrenas”.
